課程概述 |
This course is designed to prepare freshman students to enhance and improve writing and speaking skills. Activities such as discussion and debate, essay composition, building vocabulary, analytical thinking, evaluation of media, public speaking, and fundamental research will be covered. Emphasis will be placed on written and oral communication skills. Students should also expect enrichment projects to correspond with each unit of study. |

The students are expected to express ideas clearly and effectively in a variety of oral contexts and apply active listening skills in the analysis and evaluation of spoken ideas. |
